Hi all'
I have recently completed a redesign of a clients ecommerce website. The original site was a Drupal build and the new platform uses WooCommerce in Wordpress. As page names and subsequently urls are slightly different, I used 301 redirects to accomodate the change. I did not do redirects for all the products, only the ones that I could see were getting searched in previos google reports.
My problem now is I am seeing a big drop in visitor to the site in google analytics. I don't believe these numbers are accurate as my sales are bigger than the amount of visitors I am seeing in Google anylitics and in a plugin called "jetpack I can see plenty of traffic and pageviews (does not show visitors though).
How can I get Google analytics to accurately show visitors or am I living in denial?
Any thoughts appreciated, right now I am a little baffled
